Despite its liberalization telecommunications market in Greece is still dominated by former monopoly OTE. It accounts for the largest share in fixed-line telephony sphere. As to its alternatives, they offer cheaper services and identical speed, but have poor service. The most popular ISPs in Greece are Otenet (namely, OTE), Forthnet, Vivodi Telecom, Hellas On Line and Tellas. ADSL service is also provided by Vodafone subsidiary.
